Silky arrived at the San Jose Animal Care Center in April of 2016. The shelter takes in around 17,000 animals per year. The poor dog had severely matted hair. The mounds of knots had foxtails and debris trapped in them. The pooch could barely walk or move, let alone see through her entangled hair. Silky needed surgery to be spayed when she was at the shelter. She was under general anesthesia when the rescuers decided to groom her as well.

After years of neglect, the little dog finally got a much-deserved makeover. You are going to be in awe when you see her transformation. She is now ready to be put up for adoption. Wait till you see the little pup for yourself! You won’t be able to stop your smile! She looks like a whole new dog!
